Welcome to Hometown RV Park

We’re located here in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains, tucked away along the banks of the Yadkin River where you can spend your days exploring the hiking trails, kayaking with the current, and walking your pup along the Jonesville Greenway Trail. If you’re looking for somewhere to lay your head just an hour North of Charlotte with full hookups, community gathering spaces, and a practical suite of amenities, we would absolutely love to host your stay!

Come Join Us In This Beautiful Corner of North Carolina

While we’re only an hour away from the major metro area of Charlotte, our forested setting up here in the north means you’ll find plenty of rest, relaxation, and the nature reset you’ve been craving. We’re located here along the Yadkin River which offers plenty of ways to stay cool under the warm North Carolina sun. Adjacent to the river, you’ll also find a 2.5 mile riverwalk known as the Jonesville Greenway which is open to bikers and walkers. The community came together to build the Happy Paws Bark Park and playground near the trailhead area in case you’re traveling with pups and kiddos.

And when you’re ready to head into town for a bite to eat or a change of scenery, downtown Jonesville and Elkin are just outside your doorstep for local coffee shops and restaurants. If hiking is more your speed, you can venture out to Pilot Mountain State Park which is home to plenty of trails and outdoor rec areas while Stone Mountain State Park is famous for its granite dome, waterfalls, and full day hiking paths.

We’re also right in the heart of Yadkin Valley Wine Country where you can taste your way through the Surry County wine trail or plan your visit around seasonal events like the Yadkin Valley Grape Festival in the fall or the Yadkin Valley Wine Festival in the spring. And if you’ve got any race fans in the crew, the Wilkesboro Speedway makes for a fun little day trip when there’s an event on the schedule.
