If you’re planning to hang around for a while, we want Hometown to feel like an easy place to come home to day after day. Our full-hookup sites come with 30/50 amp service, water, sewer, plus a picnic table and fire ring for those after-work evenings. You’ll also have park-wide WiFi (strong enough for work remote), private bathrooms in a clean bathhouse, and an on-site laundry room so you’re not hunting down a laundromat midweek. Need a quick grab-and-go item? The camp store can help with that. And if you’re traveling with kids or pups, we’ve got two playgrounds and a dog park ready to go. One of the best parts of being here long-term is how quiet it feels back at camp with the Blue Ridge foothills nearby. But even with the remote feel, you’re not actually out in the middle of nowhere. We’re less than a mile from I-77 (Exit 82), so groceries, coffee, and a quick meal are close when you need them. And when you’ve got time off, the fun is built in: direct access to the Yadkin River for fishing, kayaking, and tubing, plus Sandy Berry Creek for a cool-down on warm days. The Jonesville Greenway runs right by the park too (with Happy Paws along the way), so a walk, bike ride, or dog stroll is always on the table. Downtown Jonesville and Elkin are right outside your front door, and if wineries are your kind of weekend, you’re sitting right in Yadkin Valley wine country with tasting rooms and seasonal events close by. You may also want to keep the Wilkesboro Speedway event calendar handy for weekends when there’s a race on the schedule.
